What is a CrowdStrike Windows sensor?
The CrowdStrike Windows sensor is the software agent that is installed on a Windows device to connect it to the CrowdStrike Falcon security platform.
The agent monitors activity for signs of cyber threats and reports back immediately to the CrowdStrike platform. The potential threat is then assessed in real-time and if necessary, immediate action can be taken.
Is CrowdStrike Falcon a SIEM?
CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM is a fully featured SIEM offering. It correlates, searches, and analyses security data across first party and third-party sources.
